this time i want to post another rare watch,a space-compax chronograph for acquatic use.

it is waterproof,a real beauty.i love it,i was very lucky to found it in beautiful conditions(quite new old stock).

a couple of comments though. the buttons for the chrono come with a "screw" to lock them which may mean that the chrono function would not be available under water without risking water intrusion.

there is an interesting post on this forum about the mechanical chronographs that work under water.
( I can't find it through a quick search but may be JM will read this and post the link to it).

The metal strap of the watch: it seems to be folded steel rather than massive. I understand that this may be the original strap, that you may keep. You can also swap it for a massive steel wristband that would make this wonderful watch look even better.

An amazing piece that I even did not known before . The rare Valjoux 72 in NOS condition...a fortune indeed!
